A WOMAN has been charged in connection with a two-vehicle crash in Greenock.
Police sealed off a stretch near the corner of Bawhirley Road and Kilmacolm Road following the collision on Monday afternoon.
Now they have confirmed someone is facing prosecution after the accident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.40pm on Monday 29 April we were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on Kilmacolm Road, Greenock.
"Emergency services attended, and one woman was checked over at the scene.
"Recovery was arranged.
“A 33-year-old woman was charged in connection and is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court at a later date.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
