ONE of Inverclyde's best-known employers is recruiting for four apprentices.
Dales Marine Services is inviting applications for two apprentice mechanical engineer roles, and two steelwork and fabrication apprentice positions.
The successful candidates will undertake a four-year course which includes on-site experience at Dales Marine, training, and academic coursework.
Apprentices will work closely with experienced tradespeople, shadowing them in the first two years, take on further responsibility in their third year, and lead on tasks in the final year.
A spokesperson for Dales said: "Dales Marine has a longstanding commitment to fostering talent within the ship repair and marine industry.
"We provide tailored training, support, outstanding benefits, and promising career prospects upon completion of the apprenticeship.
"Through collaborations with local schools and colleges, we have inspired numerous students to explore maritime/ship repair as a promising career path."
Applications must be submitted before June 7.
Interviews will be conducted in July and apprentices will start work in August.
