A BAIL breach accused man charged with trying to contact his ex-partner despite being told to avoid all contact with her is set to stand trial later this month.
Daniel McConnell was granted bail in June 2021 with conditions not to approach or communicate with two women or enter a street in Greenock.
According to court papers, the 52-year-old flouted the directive in July 2022 when he allegedly entered the street, shouted towards his former partner's home address and attempted to contact her.
McConnell, of Nairn Drive, denies the alleged offence through solicitor Gerry Keenan.
Sheriff Sheena Fraser continued the case to a summary trial scheduled for May 22.
