A GREENOCK man accused of stealing a 'quantity' of booze from the town's Tesco is set to stand trial after denying the allegtion.
Thomas Footitt, of the Inverclyde Centre, is said to have committed the aleged theft on January 5.
Prosecutors say the 45-year-old committed the offence while on bail.
He has pleaded not guilty through his solicitor Aidan Gallagher with the case due to call again on July 23, ahead of a trial scheduled for August 21.
