THE landmark Bouverie flats have finally disappeared from Inverclyde’s skyline.
Demolition crews demolished the last remaining section of the Port Glasgow tenement blocks earlier this week and a massive clear-up operation is now underway to remove tonnes of rubble.
Tele photographer George Munro took a before and after shot of the famous flats, which are now consigned to history.
Work on the demolition started in June.
The picture below was taken in May, just weeks before bulldozers moved in.
