POLICE have been carrying out high visibility mounted patrols in Larkfield as their probe into an attempted murder which left a man seriously injured continues.
A 22-year-old was rushed to hospital with injuries to his head and body after a violent incident at Dorset Road's junction with Oxford Road at around 11.20pm on April 13.
Detectives have been carrying out door-to-door, CCTV and dashcam enquiries in the area as part of their investigation.

Additional patrols, which have included the use of mounted units, have also been carried out in the area.
Police Scotland stated previously that they were aware that up to a dozen males were involved in the disorder and that they were keen to trace one in particular.
The man was described as wearing a blue hooded top and was spotted running on Auchmead Road.
Detective Inspector Neil Martin said: "Extensive enquiries are ongoing into the attempted murder of a 22-year-old man in the Larkfield area of Greenock.
"The incident happened on Dorset Road, at its junction with Oxford Road, around 11.20pm on Thursday 13 April, 2023.
"Police remain around Oxford Road and we will be carrying out additional high-visibility patrols, including mounted branch, in the area.
"Anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.
"Detectives have been also carrying out door-to-door, CCTV and dashcam enquiries in the area and these will continue over the coming days.
"As ever, we rely on the assistance of our local communities and residents can be assured that we will treat any information confidentially."
