GREENOCK coastguard staff have paid a touching tribute to those who lost their lives when a tug tragically sank in the Clyde last year.
The local team held a small remembrance service at Customhouse Quay on Saturday (February 24) to mark one year since the tug Biter capsized while carrying out her duties off Greenock.
The incident claimed the lives of George Taft, 65, of Greenock, and Ian Catterson, 73, of Millport.
Local coastguard personnel laid a wreath and paid their respects to the two men during the short ceremony.
