GREENOCK was well represented at last night’s Scottish Restaurant Awards, with three local eateries taking home prizes.
The ‘diversity and quality’ of Scotland’s food scene was celebrated at a ceremony held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow.
Winners were selected across a range of categories recognising excellence in various cuisines.
The Exchange came out on top in the European Restaurant of the Year.
Staff took to social media after receiving the award, saying: “Thank you so much to all our amazing loyal customers who voted for us.
“Without our hard working team and your support, this simply wouldn’t be possible.”
Tonino’s was given a highly commended award in the Pizza Restaurant of the Year category, with Scotts at Greenock Ocean Terminal receiving the same accolade in the Family Restaurant of the Year section.
A spokesperson for the 3rd Scottish Restaurant Awards 2024 said: “The Scottish Restaurant Awards are an amazing opportunity to celebrate and showcase the very best and diverse range in Scottish dining.
We want to congratulate all of our winners and highly commended recipients on their accomplishments.”
