PUPILS and parents at a school in the east end of Greenock teamed up to stage a cracker of an Easter Fete which raised a fortune for funds.
All Saints Primary hosted the event after classes, with the Parent Voice group pulling it together.
A whole host of stalls selling toys, crafts and food did a roaring trade, with sellers donning bunny ears to add to the fun-filled atmosphere.
Stacey Morrison, chair of the Parent Voice group, said: "We had stalls, a raffle, tombola and independent traders to raise funds for a summer fun day.
"I think it is quite important to give the kids a fun day at the end of the term, as it gives them something to look forward to.
"We try to hold as many events as we can over the year, it's a good way to get the community together."
Youngsters tucked into hot dogs, popcorn and candy floss and the home baking and beads and bows stalls were busy too.
Head teacher Lesley McCabe said there had been a great response from families and praised the school's Parent Voice Group for their commitment.
She said: "Members had been in the school all afternoon preparing and they spent weeks, day in and day out, getting everything ready. It was really good to see it all come together."
Ms McCabe added that the fete also gave pupils the chance to learn new skills by running stalls.
The event raised £1,500 for the school and the Parent Voice group are now busy planning a summer barbecue.
