A KIND cafe crew are brewing up support to help local charities.
The Green Bean Tea Bar at Greenock Sheriff Court has just donated £5,000 to good causes
The hard-working volunteers work on a rota to make sure the cafe is up and running every morning.
Jean Agnew said: "We are all volunteers, we have different people coming in every day to run the cafe and everything we make goes straight to the charities.
"We all work here for free to help local charities in any small way we can, mostly for children's charities.
The team buy all the tea, coffee and food they need from the kitty and the rest goes to charity.
Those who benefited from the latest cash disperal included Ardgowan Hospice, Calum's Cabin, Children in Poverty Inverclyde, Greenock and Port Glasgow Otters and Inverclyde Family Contact Centre.
The volunteers usually work in two-hour slots and are looking for more volunteers.
The cafe is open Monday to Thursday between 9am and 1pm and 9am and noon on Fridays.
If anyone has a few hours to spare they should pop in to the cafe and speak to one of the volunteers.
