THE new £1.5 million pound Greggs drive-through in Greenock was closed to vehicles this morning due to a card payment glitch.
Customers were told by staff they were taking cash only payments at the tills in store.
Traffic cones had been laid out blocking entry to the shop, with customers having to make their way to the premises on foot.
It was reported last week that Greggs across the country had experienced ongoing issues accepting payments by card.
The Inverclyde outlet only opened two weeks ago and is Greggs' bigget drive-through outlet in Scotland, employing more that 20 staff.
