POLICE have issued a public appeal in a bid to trace a missing Port Glasgow schoolboy.
Lucas Reid, 12, was last seen in the town at around 3pm yesterday.
He is described as being five feet and six inches tall, with black hair and a slim build.
When he was last seen, Lucas was wearing a black tracksuit.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Lucas is thought to be in the Port Glasgow area.
“His family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and we would appeal to the public for help in tracing Lucas's whereabouts.”
Anyone who has information regarding Lucas’ whereabouts is asked to contact 101.
