A MAN has been reported for an alleged road traffic offence following a two-car crash this morning which saw another man rushed to hospital.
Greenock Road in Port Glasgow was shut eastbound from the Port Glasgow Road roundabout to the junction outside Bogston Station.
Police say a 45-year-old man is the subject of a report regarding an alleged road traffic offence following the incident.
A 56-year-old man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
Two badly damaged cars were left in the road following the collision causing a tailback of cars behind them.

Emergency services attended following the incident and motorists were advised to avoid the area until the road was cleared and reopened this afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Motorists are thanked for their patience."
