A CIVIC prayer for Inverclyde event has been announced for Thursday May 9 in Greenock Town Hall saloon.
Hosted by Inverclyde Christian Initiative, the event will take place from 12.30 to 1.30pm and following the time of prayer, a buffet will be provided.
Invitations have been sent out to all local church ministers and other local Christian leaders, to all district councillors, community councils and other business and community leaders, plus those in the essential ‘blue light’ services.
Organiser Chris Jewell said: "We know from experience that prayer can be key for many situations and can change both people and possibilities for good.
"We would encourage all those invited and any others who wish to come to contact me by email at inverclydeawake@gmail.com by Monday 6th May."
