MURDER inquiry detectives have today arrested a man in connection with the death of Jack Trainner in Port Glasgow.
The 23-year-old suspect is currently being held in custody while 'enquiries are continuing', Police Scotland confirmed.
Mr Trainner, 27, was found seriously injured within the common close of a block of flats at the Port's Brookfield Road on April 27.
Police and paramedics were called to the emergency incident at around 9.05pm that night.
Mr Trainner was pronounced dead at the scene.
