A GREENOCK post office is to be extended thanks to a new Scottish Government cash boost.
The office, on Bow Road, is one of almost 50 across the country sharing in a £1million windfall which has been announced today.
It will receive £25,000 under the 'post office diversification fund'.
Enterprise Minister Fergus Ewing says the investment programme is designed to support business activities around local post offices.
The money awarded to the Bow Road outlet will allow it to expand into an adjoining retail unit and carry out extensive refurbishment.
