PEOPLE stricken by a vomiting bug on cruise ship Boudicca remain in isolation.
Operator Fred Olsen Cruise Lines confirm that 30 people are sick after an outbreak of gastroenteritis.
More than 1,000 people are on board the liner, including 828 holidaymakers, which is due to dock in Funchal in Madeira today.
The ship, above, left Greenock on 7 May on a 13-night cruise to the Canary Islands.
Travel giant bosses say rigorous hygiene procedures are in place and no scheduled destinations will be missed.
A spokeswoman for the firm, said: "The virus is very easily spread by contact with surfaces, and guests are regularly reminded of the importance of meticulous hygiene. Anti-bacterial gels are used upon boarding the ship and entering any area serving food.
"The outbreak should not affect the itinerary, and there are currently no plans to miss any ports of call."
