MORTON have added a new face to their squad after midfielder Caolan McAleer agreed to join the Cappielow club.
The pacy 22-year-old announced his move on Twitter last night.
The Northern Irishman was most recently with junior side Kilbirnie Ladeside, having been farmed out by Airdrie during what was his second spell with the Lanarkshire club.
He first came to Scotland when Partick Thistle snapped him up in 2012 from Linfield, and later had a full season with East Fife. McAleer said he was ‘delighted’ to join Morton.
He added: “Looking forward to a new start and back to full time football.”
