MORTON have sent 19-year-old defender John Tennent out on loan.
He's completed a temporary switch to Cumbernauld Colts which is due to last until January.
The deal follows teenage forward Alex McWaters being farmed out to Largs Thistle yesterday.
Tennent, who can operate at right-back or in the centre of defence, came through the club's youth academy and made his first team debut as a sub, pictured, in the Cappielow club's 3-1 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox in March.
Ton boss Jim Duffy said: "We just want to get them game time and one is going to the Lowland League and one is going to the juniors.
“Cumbernauld Colts and Largs Thistle are both good sides and it will be beneficial for the boys to spend time with those clubs to learn the game. Both of them have signed until January and we’ll look at the situation again nearer the time.”
