MORTON striker George Oakley says he and his team-mates can go into this weekend's clash against Dundee United full of confidence after their free-scoring display against Lowland League side Bo'ness United.
It might've taken Ton 45 minutes to break down the Newtown Park outfit, but it was one way traffic in the second half and the English striker says that finding the back of the net so many times will prove a huge help.
Oakley told the Tele: "In football, no game is easy. Bo'ness made it hard for us at the weekend.
"But we're looking forward to this week now, that's why getting those four goals was so important because it means that we are positive and looking to go and back it up.
"I've been up here long enough now to realise that in the Scottish Cup anything can happen.
"Games like the one we just had against Bo'ness are hard because you're expected to win, so the pressure builds as the game goes on.
"To get my goal right before half time was important, I just hope we can kick on now against Dundee United this weekend."
