THE unbeaten run continues and the smiles on our faces just keep on coming after watching Morton take it up a level to beat Premiership team Motherwell in the Scottish Cup.
A thoroughly deserved win was achieved with a combination of effort, commitment and quality that we are now becoming accustomed to.
Every week we marvel at the turnaround in the team with respect to positive results, but perhaps we shouldn’t have been that surprised as Dougie Imrie continually told us all that once he had all his players available we would be a match for anyone.
I wish I had a crystal ball to foresee how the season develops as I’m sure it would show us in the promotion play-offs and having a day out in the sun on Scottish Cup final day!
I do love to dream, so if only one could come true then it would be making the cup final, as I have seen us in the Premier League but never saw us manage to get past the Scottish Cup semis.
Having said that not only am I a dreamer but also a greedy person, so why can’t we achieve promotion and a cup final day out?
Was it really only two months ago that my dreams looked like nightmares as we looked to be hurtling towards relegation?
Thanks guys for putting the smiles back on all us frustrated Morton supporters.
