ALLAN Moore has insisted his side won’t be relying on the misfortune of others to stay out of trouble - after crisis club Dundee were yesterday docked 25 points.
SFL bosses handed out the strict sanction as punishment for the Dens Park side entering administration .
The move means Morton are no longer bottom of the table, as Dundee now sit a full 20 points below them in the league and face a monumental task to avoid relegation.
But the Ton boss has insisted his focus is only on his own club.
Moore said: “The Dundee situation obviously puts them below us but at the end of the day we’re only looking after ourselves and we’re not looking at anybody else.
“We’re concentrating on catching the teams above us. If we keep working as hard as we did on Saturday then things are bound to change for us.
“The performances have been pretty decent. It’s a battle in this league but the boys are sticking in there and are trying to win that battle.”
