FORMER Ross County and Dunfermline hitman Andy Barrowman linked up with the Morton squad for a few days of pre-season training, Jim Duffy has confirmed.
Well-travelled striker Barrowman, who has also represented the likes of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Kilmarnock and Queen of South, turned out for Livingston last term, scoring six goals in 22 appearances.
As part of the process of building a squad for next season, Duffy invited players to use the facilities at Parklea, with the unattached 29-year-old participating on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of last week.
The Ton boss told the Tele: “Andy Barrowman was in training with us for a couple of days last week, but there’s nothing to report on that at the moment.
“Andy’s doing a degree and had exams Thursday and Friday, but he was in with us in the early part of the week.
“I invited him in to do some pre-season training with us and he accepted the invitation, but it hasn’t gone any further than that.
“Will he be in training again this week? Well, he’s just done his exams so we said we’d let the weekend go and then have a chat with him.”
