FORMER Ross County player Adam Strachan has been training with Morton.
Asked if Strachan would be offered a contract, Morton boss Davie Irons said: 'We"re not near that stage. He"s just one of five or six players who have been given the use of our facilities.' A highly promising youngster, Strachan was released by Partick Thistle after an altercation with team-mate Marc Smyth before signing with Ross County.
He was given a period of community service after he was found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend. Ross County released him at the end of the season and he has been looking for a club since.
