Sabajo is a 26-year-old forward of Surinamese descent who started his career as a youth player with PSV Eindhoven before more recently featuring for third-tier side FC Lienden.
Angola-born defender Talu, 21, counts PEC Zwolle, for whom he made one appearance in the Eredivisie, and SC Telstar as former clubs and spent last season with VV Berkum.
Sabajo scored in last Friday’s bounce match against Dundee and both players have impressed so far according to Ton boss Duffy, who is keen to have a closer look against Clach and Brora Rangers. Speaking exclusively to the Tele, he said: “We’ve had two Dutch boys in on trial. I saw them play in a training game against Motherwell around March or April time.
“I asked to see if we could get them in for pre-season and that’s what we did do. They were in from the first day and trained and played in a couple of closed-doors games.
“Romario’s a forward and Ricardo’s a defender. The boys went home on Sunday but I had a chat with them and [told them] they both did pretty well.
“We’ll see what happens. As I said, I’ve had a chat with them but I’ve not made any decisions yet. It’s just a case of having a wee think about it and seeing what happens over the next few days.
“We’re up at Inverness Clach and then Brora on Saturday. They’re back in Holland but we are trying to get them back over for the games up north.
“But I don’t think that’s going to be possible. One of the boys said he might be able to do it, which would give us a wee opportunity to have a look at him in another couple of games.
“If we can get them over again to take them up north, we’ll do so because, as I said, I thought the two of them did well. But at this moment there’s nothing more on them.” Former Hamilton Accies and Aberdeen wideman Jai Quitongo made a substitute appearance as a trialist in Tuesday night’s 3-2 friendly win over BSC Glasgow.
But Duffy revealed the teenager is a player they are looking at with a view to the future as a possible addition to Andy Millen’s development squad.
He explained: “Jai’s a young boy; he’s only 17, and he came in last Thursday. He would be for the Under-20s really. That’s where we see him.
“But we haven’t signed him or offered him anything at the moment.
“He’s just a talented player at 17 who we know has got natural ability and a bit of skill.
“He’s also got rough edges in terms of positional play and without the ball, so we’ve got to work on that.
“We’ll let Andy [Millen] have him over the next couple of weeks and we’ll have a think about that one.”
