A GREENOCK assault-accused woman alleged to have run away from police is set for trial.
Suzanne Houston is accused of assaulting a female at an address on South Street by repeatedly punching her on the head and body on January 25.
Prosecutors say the 44-year-old, of South Street, also resisted, obstructed or hindered two police constables, ran away from them and attempted to prevent them accessing her property on South Street on the same date.
Houston has pleaded not guilty to the two charges through her lawyer Gerry Keenan and is set to stand trial on August 21.
The matter will call again on July 23.
