A WELL-known Inverclyde singer songwriter is playing a sold out gig at a popular Glasgow venue on Friday night as he celebrates a decade since the release of his debut album.
Pete MacLeod will be on stage at The Hug and Pint to mark 10 years of his album Rolling Stone.
The 10-track record was released by Scottish producer and businessman Alan McGhee, who helped Oasis get their big break.
Pete will be appearing on stage alongside his good friend Tom Sillitoe on piano.
To celebrate the success of the album, Pete has reworked some of the tunes, and says people will be in for a treat on the night.
He added: "I'm delighted that it's sold out and I'm really looking forward to it.
"I can't believe it's been 10 years since the album.
"I've been reworking the songs, breaking them down and rearranging them, and it's worked out really well.
"I think people will appreciate me taking the time and care with the songs and celebrating them."
Pete says there's a bus-load of Inverclyde music fans heading for Glasgow to see him on stage at the intimate venue.
He added: "This will be the first time I've been on stage with just me and a keys player.
"I love doing intimate shows.
"I think people see the best version of me when I perform like that."
CD and vinyl copies on Rolling Stone will be available on the night.
