TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2016
TEMPORARY REMOVAL OF ONE WAY RESTRICTION
ON OLD INVERKIP RD, GREENOCK FROM MARY ST
TO INVERKIP RD
The Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. In the interests of public safety and to enable access for residents to section of Old Inverkip Road due to the closure of the A78 Inverkip Road for resurfacing works, the Order will temporally remove the existing One Way restriction on
Old Inverkip Rd from A78 Inverkip Rd west
to Mary St. Dependent on the weather the restriction will be from 6pm on 06/02/16 until 6am on 08/02/16 or the same time period from 20/02/16 to 22/02/16. The restriction
will only be effective when displayed by signs
and cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions
2002, as amended and all affected signs covered.
Alternative route: Access to Old Inverkip Rd westbound via Inverkip Rd, Neil St, Munro St, Curlew Cres, Grieve Rd, Florence St & Mary St
Access to Old Inverkip Rd eastbound via Gateside Ave, Florence St & Mary St
