TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2016
The Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will restrict the use by all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the respective works, as follows:-
NO WAITING/LOADING - SOUTH ST, GREENOCK
For Construction of Flood Prevention Works a "no waiting/loading" restriction on one side of the carriageway for a distance of 80m approx. from roundabout from 7.30am on 04/04/2016 to 7.30pm on 31/07/2016.
NO WAITING/LOADING - NELSON ST, GREENOCK
For Construction of Flood Prevention Works a "no waiting/loading" restriction on both sides of the carriageway for a distance of 80m approx. from roundabout from 7.30am on 04/04/2016 to 7.30pm on 31/07/2016.
ROAD CLOSURE - KILCREGGAN VIEW, GREENOCK
Road closure on full length of Kilcreggan View, Greenock from 7am on 11/04/2016 to 5pm on 15/04/2016 to allow for carriageway resurfacing. Alternative route: Blairmore Rd, Kilmacolm Rd, Strone Cres, Bawhirley Rd, East Crawford St, Bridgend Rd and vice versa.
ROAD CLOSURE - STAFFORD RD, GREENOCK
Road closure on Stafford Road, Greenock from Cumberland Rd to 95 Stafford Rd from 8am on 24/04/2016 to 5pm on 29/04/2016 to allow for carriageway resurfacing. Alternative route: Cumberland Rd, Westmorland Rd, Stafford Rd and vice versa.
Access for pedestrians and emergency services will be maintained. The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, as amended.
