TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2016 NO WAITING/LOADING RESTRICTIONS ON NEWARK ST, ELDON ST, ESPLANADE & LYLE RD, GREENOCK & COVE RD, STEEL ST, CARDWELL RD & MANOR
CRES, GOUROCK
To permit the Highland Games at Battery Park to take place, the Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. In the interests of public safety and to prevent congestion around Battery Park for the duration of the event, the Order will restrict waiting and loading by all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the event, from 8am-6pm on 08/05/2016 on both sides of the roads listed below:-
1. Newark St, Greenock from Eldon St to Wood St.

2. Eldon St, Greenock from the Esplanade to the town boundary.

3. Esplanade, Greenock from Eldon St to North St.

4. Lyle Rd, Greenock from Lyle Pl to Eldon St.

5. Cove Rd, Gourock from Steel St to Cardwell Rd.

6. Steel St, Gourock

7. Cardwell Rd, Gourock from Cove Rd to the town boundary.

8. Manor Cres, Gourock from Caledonia Cres to Cardwell Rd.

The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, as amended. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
