TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2016
The Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Road closures and no waiting and no loading at any time restrictions will exist on all vehicles:-
ROAD CLOSURE - AUCHENBOTHIE RD. PORT GLASGOW On Auchenbothie Rd from Dubbs Rd to Marloch Ave, from 7am on 27/06/2016 to 5pm on 01/07/2016, all except vehicles engaged in the carriageway reconstruction works. Alternative route: Dubbs Rd, Kilmacolm Rd, Link Rd from Kilmacolm Rd to Marloch Ave, Marloch Ave and vice versa.
ROAD CLOSURE - FLATTERTON RD. GREENOCK On Flatterton Rd at the junction with A78 Inverkip Rd overnight from 8pm-6am on 29/06/2016 until 08/07/2016 to allow for resurfacing works on A78 Inverkip Rd. Alternative route: Auchmead Rd, Burns Rd, Braeside Rd, Flatterton Rd and vice versa.
NO WAITING/LOADING - GRIEVE RD. GREENOCK On Grieve Rd on both sides of carriageway from 20 metres north of Plover Lane to 20 metres south of Sandpiper Place from 6am on 02/07/2016 to 6pm on 03/07/2016, except for vehicles engaged in the Virgin Media works.
ROAD CLOSURE - SPRINGHILLRD/ARDMORE RD. PORT GLASGOW
On Springhill Rd/Ardmore Rd on east side of junction of Bouverie St to Kinross Ave, from 7am on 04/07/2016 to 5pm on 08/07/2016, all except vehicles engaged in the carriageway reconstruction works. Alternative route: Springhill Rd, Glenhuntly Rd, Barrs Brae, Kinross Ave and vice versa.
ROAD CLOSURE - GRYFFE RD. KILMACOLM On Gryffe Rd, Kilmacolm from Lochwinnoch Rd to Lyle Rd between 8am on 08/07/2016 to 8pm on 15/08/2016 except for vehicles engaged in the building extension works at St Columba's School. Local access to 'The Gables' will be maintained. Alternative route: Lyle Rd, Duchal Rd, Lochwinnoch Rd and vice versa.
ROAD CLOSURE - WREN RD & KESTREL CRES. GREENOCK
On Wren Rd and Kestrel Cres from Fancyfarm Rd to Auchneagh Farm Rd, from 8am on 11/07/2016 to 5pm on 22/07/2016, all except vehicles engaged in the carriageway reconstruction works. Alternative route: Wren Rd, Munro St, Neil St, Inverkip Rd, Gateside Ave, Grieve Rd, Auchneagh Farm Rd and vice versa.
ROAD & LANE CLOSURE - MARLOCH AVE. PORT GLASGOW On Marloch Ave, Port Glasgow on the north leg of the junction with Auchenbothie Rd between 7am on 11/07/2016 to 7pm on 29/08/2016, all except vehicles engaged in the gas works. Alternative route: Auchenbothie Rd, Marloch Ave and vice versa. ROAD CLOSURES - GLEBE RD. MANSE ST. ROWANTREEHILL RD. PORTERFIELD RD & HOUSTON
RD. KILMACOLM
On Glebe Rd eastbound, Manse St, Rowantreehill Rd, Porterfield Rd & Houston Rd at their junctions with Bridge of Weir Rd, Kilmacolm from 8am on 11/07/2016 to 8pm on 05/09/2016 except vehicles engaged in Scottish Gas works. Only one of these closures will be in effect at any time during this period.

Glebe Rd Partial Closure - Northbound via Duchal Rd, Lochwinnoch Rd, Bridge Of Weir Rd, Southbound via Duchal Rd, Porterfield Rd, Bridge of Weir Rd
Rowantreehill Rd Closure - via Bridge of Weir Rd, Porterfield Rd, Glencairn Rd Porterfield Rd Closure - via Bridge of Weir Rd, Rowantreehill Rd, Glencairn Rd
Porterfield Rd Partial Closure to West of Bridge of Weir Rd - Northbound via Duchal Rd, Glebe Rd, Bridge of Weir Rd, Southbound via Duchal Rd, Gryffe Rd, Houston Rd, Bridge of Weir Rd Houston Rd Closure - via Bridge of Weir Rd, Porterfield Rd, Glencairn Rd
Houston Rd Partial Closure to west Bridge of Weir Rd - Northbound via Gryffe Rd, Duchal Rd, Porterfield Rd, Bridge of Weir Rd, Southbound via Gryffe Rd, Bridge of Weir Rd
Access for emergency vehicles & pedestrians will be maintained. The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, as amended.
