PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER THE INVERCLYDE COUNCIL, MANSION AVENUE, PORT GLASGOW (ONE WAY ONLY REVOCATION) ORDER 2016
The Council proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order to revoke the existing One Way Only restrictions on a section of Mansion Avenue, Port Glasgow (known as Upper Mansion Avenue). Full details of the proposals, together with a plan and a Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be viewed at www.inverclyde.gov.uk/tro and are available for inspection during normal office hours Monday to Friday inclusive at the offices of:

2. The Head of Environmental & Commercial Services (Roads), 71 East Hamilton St, Greenock, PA15 2UA Tel: (01475) 714800;
3. Central Library, Wallace Place, Greenock, PA15 1JB; and Port Glasgow Library, Fore Street, Port Glasgow, PA14 5EQ.
Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the Head of Legal and Property Services, Municipal Buildings, Greenock PA15 1LX by 26 July 2016.
PROPOSED ORDER REDETERMINING THE MEANS OF EXERCISE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF PASSAGE OVER A SECTION OF MANSION AVENUE, PORT GLASGOW (KNOWN AS UPPER MANSION AVENUE)
Notice is hereby given that The Inverclyde Council propose to make an Order under Section 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 (as amended) redetermining the means of exercise of the public right of passage over the road described in the undernoted schedule:-
SCHEDULE
Mansion Avenue, Port Glasgow (full width) from the south extended heel kerbline of Mansion Avenue to the north extended heel kerbline of Parkhill Avenue for a distance of 215 metres or thereby. It is proposed to prohibit access by motor vehicles but to permit access by pedestrians and pedal cycles in both directions.
The Title of the Order is "The Inverclyde Council, Mansion Avenue, Port Glasgow (Redetermination of means of exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 2016".
A copy of the proposed Order and accompanying plan showing the road over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined, together with a Statement of the Reasons for proposing to make this Order, can be viewed at www.inverclyde.gov.uk/tro and are available for inspection during normal office hours Mon - Fri at:-
