TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2016 ROAD CLOSURE - NEWTON ST, GREENOCK
The Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will prohibit the use by all vehicles on Newton St, Greenock from Robertson St to Campbell St, except for vehicles engaged in the carriageway resurfacing works, from 7am on 08/08/2016 to 4pm on 12/08/2016. Alternative route: Newton St: Robertson St, South St, Forsyth St, Finnart St, Robertson St to Newton St and vice versa. No access on to Newton St from Campbell St. Access to premises only on Newton St between Forsyth St and Campbell St. Access for emergency vehicles & pedestrians will be maintained. The restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, as amended.
