TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2016
The Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Road closures will exist on all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the relevant works:-
ROAD CLOSURE -UNION ST, GREENOCK
Union St, Greenock from 6am on 12/09/16 to 8pm on 15/10/16 for bridge strengthening works. Alternative routes:-Campbell St, Brougham St & Robertson St or | Campbell St, Ardgowan St & Robertson St.
ROAD CLOSURE -WILLIAM ST, PORT GLASGOW
William St, Port Glasgow from Roundabout at Brown St to Highholm St for rail bridge repair works from 8:30am on 14/09/2016 to 4pm on 15/09/2016. Alternative route: -Brown St, Jean St, Highholm St, William St & vice versa.
Access for emergency vehicles & pedestrians will be maintained. The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
