TEMPORARY TRAFFIC
REGULATION ORDERS 2016
The Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Road closures will exist on all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the relevant works:-
ROAD CLOSURE (Phase 1) -A770 DALRYMPLE ST & GREY PL, GREENOCK
From Laird St to Brougham St, Greenock from 7am on 18/09/16 to 6pm on 19/09/16 for carriageway resurfacing works. Alternative routes:- West bound -Dalrymple St, Laird St, Clarence St, Patrick St to Brougham St. East bound - Brougham St, Patrick St, Clarence St, Container Way, Bullring roundabout 3rd exist Dalrymple St to Laird St. No access onto Dalrymple St from Roslin St, Haig St, Hood St, Crawfurd St & West Blackhall St.
ROAD CLOSURE (Phase 2) -A770 DALRYMPLE ST & GREY PL, GREENOCK
From Laird St to Brougham St, Greenock from 6pm on 19/09/16 to 6pm on 23/09/16 for carriageway resurfacing works. Alternative routes:- East bound - Brougham St, Patrick St, Clarence St, Container Way, Bullring roundabout 3rd exist Dalrymple St. West bound - will travel single file between Laird St & Brougham St through works area. No access onto Dalrymple St from Roslin St, Haig St, Hood St, Crawfurd St. Left turn only from West Blackhall St.
ROAD CLOSURE - HOPE ST, GREENOCK
From Dellingburn St to Lynedoch St, Greenock from 7am on 24/09/2016 to 6pm on 30/09/2016 for carriageway resurfacing works. Alternative route: Hope St - Dellingburn St, Regent St, Lynedoch St & vice versa. Access onto Hope St from Antigua St & Lynedoch Industrial Estate will be restricted.
Access for emergency vehicles & pedestrians will be maintained. The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
