TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2016
The Council has made the undernoted Orders under Section14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended which will restrict the use by all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the events,as follows:
ROAD CLOSURE -CATHCART SQ & WILLIAM ST, GREENOCK
Galoshans Festival from midnight on 28/10/16to midnight on 29/10/16on Cathcart Sq& William St, Greenock.
ROAD CLOSURE -COVE RD
& STEEL ST, GOUROCK
Fireworks display - Cove Rd & Steel St from noon to10pm on 05/11/16.
WAITING & LOADING
RESTRICTIONS-NEWARK ST,
ELDON ST & LYLE RD, GREENOCK, CARDWELL RD & MANOR CRES, GOUROCK
Fireworks Display - the roads listed below on 05/11/16:-
1. From noon to10pm on both sides of Newark St, Greenock from Eldon St to Wood St.
2. From noon to10pm on both sides of EldonSt, Greenock from the Esplanade to the town boundary.
3. From noon to 10pm on both sides of  Lyle Rd,Greenock from Lyle Pl to Eldon St.
4. From noon to10pm on both sides of Cardwell Rd, Gourock from Cove Rd to the town boundary 5. From noon to10pm on both sides of Manor Cres, Gourock from Caledonia Cres to Cardwell Rd.

The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. Access for pedestrians and emergency services will be maintained.
