TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2016
To permit the Remembrance Ceremonies to be carried out on 13/11/16, the Council has  made the undernoted Orders under Section | 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,which will restrict the use by all vehicles,except vehicles engaged| in the events,as follows:
ROAD CLOSURE -
FORE ST,PORT GLASGOW
Fore St, Port Glasgow from A8 Glasgow Road to Scarlow St & Bay St from 10.30am to 1pm.Alternative route:-Westbound A8 Greenock Rd-Brown St - Shore St -Scarlow St -Fore St &John Wood St -King St - Scarlow St - Shore St -Brown St-Eastbound A8 Greenock Rd
WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTIONS -ALBERT RD, ROYAL ST, GOUROCK & LYLE RD,CATHCART SQ, LYNEDOCH ST, REGENT ST, GREENOCK
1. From 8am to 5pm on north side of AlbertRd, Gourock from opposite 6-39 AlbertRd.

2. From 10.30am to 1pm on southside of Royal St, Gourock from 39 Royal St to the junction with Binnie St.

3. From 1.30pm to 6pm on west side of Lyle Rd, Greenock from the monument north up to and including the car parking bays.

4. From 10.30am to 1pm on south side of Cathcart Sq, Greenock.

5. From 10.30am to 1pm on both sides of Lynedoch St, Greenock from the junction with Regent St to the dead end & on the north side of Regent St from the Taxi rank east to the Wellpark entrance

The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with TheTraffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. Access for pedestrian and emergency services will be maintained.
