TEMPORARY TRAFFIC
REGULATION ORDERS 2016
The Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. Road closures or restrictions will exist for all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the relevant works:-
ROAD CLOSURE - NORTH
ENTRANCE TO MAIN ST
FROM A78, INVERKIP
To allow for sewer connection works for the new Inverkip Community Centre the road will be closed on the north entrance to Main Street from the A78 between 8am on 22/10/16 to 6pm on 23/10/16.
Alternative route: - A78 Inverkip Rd,
Main St & vice versa.
TURNING BANS - A78 EAST & WESTBOUND INTO NORTH
ENTRANCE TO MAIN ST, INVERKIP
No left and right turn movement from the A78
east & westbound into the north entrance
to Main Street to allow sewer connection works for the new Inverkip Community Centre between 8am on 22/10/16 to 6pm on 23/10/16. Alternative route: -A78 Inverkip Road, Main Street & vice versa.
ROAD CLOSURE - ISLAY, LEWIS &
ERISKAY AVES, PORT GLASGOW
Arran Ave to No. 1 Islay Avenue and full length of Eriskay & Lewis Avenues will be closed to allow carriageway resurfacing works from 8am on 31/10/2016 to 6pm on 04/11/2016. Alternative routes: Arran Ave, Tiree Ave, Mull Ave, Islay Ave & vice versa or Arran Ave, Cumbrae Ave & vice versa. Access for emergency vehicles & pedestrians
will be maintained. The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and
cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
