AITKEN Margaret Ferguson Jean, sister of the late Margaret would like to express her deep gratitude to the many kind friends who have helped and supported her at this sad time, those who sent messages of comfort, those who helped in practical ways, the doctors, nurses and staff of Lochview Medical Practice and the various teams at Inverclyde Royal Hospital where Margaret spent her last few days. I will always be grateful to the kind and caring staff and neighbours of Bagatelle Court who enabled Margaret to enjoy a better quality of life and to the various members of staff at Bagatelle Care Home where she spent a brief but happy few weeks in their loving care. My heartfelt thanks go to the Rev. Owen Derrick for his guidance and understanding, for a sincere and uplifting tribute to Margaret and for his care and concern for me at a difficult time. The music too evoked so many happy memories and I am most grateful to Mr Alan Armour for his willingness to play the organ. Finally thank you to Mr David Black of P.B. Wright and Sons for his help and advice and to the Tontine Hotel for providing afternoon tea.
