WILSON - Robert Hearton Linda, Laura, Sarah and family thank you for personal letters, cards and all your kindness and sympathy. At times like this we realise how much family and friends mean to us. Your generosity at Robert's Service resulted in the magnificent sum of £900 being raised for charities close to his heart, Ardgowan Hospice, Chest Heart and Stroke and the Brain Tumour Charity, each received £300. Special thanks to Hazel Webb (Humanist Celebrant) whose presentation of Robert's life was eloquent and heartfelt and to friends Clark McKelvie and Ian McNaughton for their wonderful tributes and memories, which were especially meaningful. Huge gratitude to Pamela Allan, Musical Director of Inverclyde Voices, who organised and advised on the music that Robert enjoyed, it was perfect! Also, immense appreciation and awe to John Roy Garrod and the "Boys" of Inverclyde Voices for their uplifting and wonderful musical renditions. Our immense appreciation to the staff of PB Wright, especially David Black, for funeral arrangements achieved with dignity, respect and thoughtful touches. Finally thank you to Royal Gourock Yacht Club for excellent catering and to Studio Flowers for lovely floral arrangements. Robert's capacity to care for his fellow man was immense, but his love for his family knew no bounds, this love will be with us always and will help us through the dark days to come.
