O'DONNELL - Marie (nee Ruddy) Peacefully passed away on Monday 8th March 2021 after a brave struggle with failing health. Dearly loved wife of the late James, devoted and caring mother to Karine, Paul and the late Gerard, proud and loving grandmother to James and kind friend to all who knew her. A life devoted to putting others before herself, she will live forever in our hearts. With all our love.

So sorry to hear of your mum’s death. Both she and your dad were friends of ours when we were young. Mum, dad and I started work in IBM at the same time. My husband and your dad were childhood family friends from old Holmscroft street, Greenock. Your mum was a really kind, gentle person whom it was a privilege to know. No reflection on your dad whatsoever, but obviously I had more dealings with her (in those days) as a female, than your dad. A super couple who were destined to be together. So proud and happy with their family. Our thoughts are with you.
