ALEXANDER - Alastair McPherson Passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow on 7th of March 2021, aged 83, with one of his beloved daughters by his side. A respected, well known sports broadcaster, football commentator, architect, historian and author, he was a true gentleman always showing kindness and compassion for others. Beloved father and father in law of Shirley, Susan, Joyce and Mark, proud and adored grandpa of Alex and Callum. "We shall not see his like again" Rest in peace dad, your legacy lives on. A Private Service will take place at Greenock Crematorium and our dad will be making his final journey passing Parklea and Margaret Street between 1.10pm and 1.45pm on Friday 26th March. His service can be joined at https://www.funeralstreamingscotland.co.uk/alastairalexander A future Memorial Service will be planned in better times to celebrate his life.
