WALKER Peacefully at Ardgowan Hospice on 1st May 2021, Peter, so dearly loved husband of Cathie (nee Swindells) proud dad of sons Allan and Andrew and daughter in laws Barrie and Elaine, doting grandad of Molly, dear brother of Marie and Frank and brother in law of Vi. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Greenock Crematorium in accordance with Government guidelines. Family flowers only please.

The Linn family wish express their condolences to all in the Walker family. Peters mother was a family friend, and I knew Peter from the 14th BB, and the Elim church. On the 1st of May, while playing golf, I and fellow 14th BB member discussed Peter in glowing terms, unaware he was ill. He was a true gentleman, and a wonderful human being.

I was so disturbed and shocked to hear of Peters passing, we were brought up together in Belville Street in the 1950s, we attended the same schools, Belville Place and The Mount secondary, also Peter and I joined the 14th Greenock Boys Brigade, I was always good at sports, but Peter beat me every time at the 100 yards, I remember Peter always being a very polite and upstanding person and he will be dearly missed, may I offer my deep condolences to Peters family at this very sad time.

Sincere condolences to Cathie and all the family.
I knew Peter through the Boys Brigade, the Elim Church and his duties as a Special Constable.
Peter was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
