HARKNESS Suddenly, but peacefully on Monday 24th January 2022 at Inverclyde Royal Hospital surrounded by her loving family, Rita (Margaret) nee McWhinnie, beloved wife of Edward, loving mum to Mary Frances, Ann, Edward and Christine, much loved mother in law to William, Guto, Evelyn and David, cherished grandmother and great grandmother to all of her grandchildren, a loving sister, sister in law and aunt to her family and a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed. Rita will be received into St Andrew's R.C. Church, Greenock on Wednesday 2nd February 2022 at 6.00pm for Vigil Prayers. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday 3rd February 2022 at 10.00am and thereafter to Gourock Cemetery arriving approximately 11.00am for Committal to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Let The Children Live.
