Nan was an old neighbour of mine. She was always happy and cheery and gave off so much positivity every time you met her. She was also an amazing dulcimer player. A wonderful lady.

We loved being taught by Nan, didn't we?

Nan was my primary school teacher nearly 40 years ago and we stayed in touch for probably about 20 years until her passing. She had such a bright, shiny soul which always sparkled over the many years we wrote to each other and met up. Truly my favourite teacher and a special friend. I will miss you Nan so much. You will always be remembered in my heart. Rest in Jesus.

Mrs Kirkpatrick always had such enthusiasm and energy for teaching. I can still remember all of the hymns that she taught us. I am a better person because of her wonderful teaching.

Everyone can remember their favourite teacher and Nan was mine and I'm proud that over the years, I was able to call her a friend. Her faith was unswerving and I hope that she has entered the Paradise that she so rightly deserves
Sleep well Mrs Kirkpatrick. Thank you for being a great teacher and a wonderful friend
