LYNCH - Mary Kate (Maureen) In her 104th year, Maureen passed away peacefully at the Holy Rosary Residence on Tuesday 8th August 2023. Maureen (nee Thornhill), beloved wife of the late Daniel Lynch, was surrounded by her close family. She will be remembered fondly as a wonderful mum to Patricia, Michael, Geraldine and Kevin. She was also a dearly loved stepmother, mother in law, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Maureen resided in Pennyfern for nearly seventy years and enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a classroom auxiliary in St. Laurence's Primary School. Her remains will be received into St. Joseph's R.C. Church on Tuesday 22nd August at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday 23rd August, followed by interment at Greenock Cemetery at 11:00am. Family flowers only please.
