SHEARER Peacefully at Balclutha Court Care Home on Monday 25th September 2023, Eileen (nee Witherow), beloved wife of Archie, former teacher at Ardgowan School, a well-known local singer and a dear friend to many. A Celebration of Eileen's Life will be held in the Well Park Mid Kirk Church at 1pm on Wednesday 11th October, with the Committal following at Greenock Crematorium at 2pm. All family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.

I knew "Auntie" Eileen Witherow all my life, and will always have the fondest thoughts of her kind friendliness and hospitality. It has been my privilege to know Archie and Eileen as a couple all my adult life. Eileen is second from the left in this photo. The other ladies are Enid Osborne, Jean Cowe (née Ridley) and Mary Boyce.
