Carol will be dearly missed by all the Bothy staff, volunteers and walkers. An infectious smile and a genuine interest in and care for others and a love of life that rubbed off on others.

Carol you were such a good friend to my mum especially as she started to struggle with her hearing and her walking. You and others made her feel welcome on the walks when she worried that she was holding everyone back. You listened to her, you always made sure to speak to her. When I broke the news to her that you'd gone she was very upset. She said you had a smile for everyone and lit up any room you were in. I agree. The photo is a few weeks ago at the karaoke night that she was trying to make you sing at. You drew the line there. We will both miss you Carol, the world needs more people like you. Carol and I did our training together at the old Greenock Royal Infirmary. I remember our time on the wards together and how kind she always was to everyone.
I will always remember her zest for life and her laugh, such a wonderful giggle, she always made others laugh when she did too xxx
