KING - Alexander Russell It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Alexander Russell King Jnr (known to all as Russell) on 26th August 2024. Devoted husband and soulmate of Caterina, much loved father figure to Lewis, adored by his sisters Theresa, Myra, his late brother David, nephew Paul and brother in law Martin. Russell will be remembered as working at IBM for almost 40 years and as a keen badminton player in his youth. A Rosary will be held on Sunday 8th September 2024 at 5.45pm at Donald McLaren Ltd Funeral Directors, 45 Sunnyside Road, Coatbridge, ML5 3DG. Russell's Requiem Mass will be on Monday 9th September 2024 at 12 noon at St Laurence's R.C. Church, Greenock. Thereafter Greenock Crematorium for 1pm. All family and friends are very warmly invited. Family flowers only please, but there will be a charity collection at the back of the Crematorium.
