Detectives have issued an appeal for help to find the robber
A MANHUNT has been launched to find a robber who struck at a house on Greenock's Maple Road early this morning.
Detectives say that the man - who was 'possibly' armed - forced his way into the property at 3.45am.
A sum of money was stolen from couple who live in the property, leaving them shaken.
Greenock CID have launched an appeal for information on the incident and issued a description of the suspect.
He is described as a white male of stocky build, around 5ft 10' in height and he was wearing a black hoodie with a blue-scarf masking his face and black trousers.
Calls should be made to the 101 number or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
